The Shakesby® range provides water treatment solutions for any private supply from a single domestic dwelling to a small industrial site. Larger commercial applications are covered by our custom-assembled industrial systems.
Four iron-removal ranges provide solutions for virtually any requirement, with selection based on the water provision system and the flow rate required. Other products are used to remove additional concentrations of manganese and to correct the pH of ‘aggressive water’ which can take up metals from pipework. Your Shakesby distributor will be able to advise on precise requirements.

Iron removal is effected by our own filter media - SIRM® (Shakesby Iron Removal Medium) – which removes virtually all the iron without increasing manganese levels: indeed manganese levels are often also reduced. The result is water substantially better than the permitted national value.
